So now all of a sudden 40 days away from election day the press is talking about race as an issue in the election and that there are people in this country that will not vote for Barak Obama because of this race. Now way you’re kidding me? I’m shocked.
No, not really. Somehow we went through almost two years of the Presidential campaign now without race being an issue. Now all of a sudden 40 days out from the election it’s a topic of conversation? Get real; we’re going to talk about it now? Most of us life in the real world, I’m not sure about the media. In the real world people are already aware of these things and unfortunately due to our fallen nature racism exists, sexism exists, and a whole host of other things we’d prefer not exist do indeed exist.
What is interesting about the so-called “Bubba” vote is that the “Bubbas” exist in the political party that is supposedly accepting of all people. Bubbas are those people who will vote for Democrats on the whole ticket with exception the Presidential vote. Nothing like a bit of irony to shine some light on just one of the hypocrisies of the Democrats. This is the same party that says they are for Human Rights, oh but wait; you don’t get them if you are still in your mother’s womb.
Now just to show I can be fair and balanced six of the last eight years Republicans were in charge. They too have been hypocritical. The supposed party of conservatism has spent like a degenerate gambler who is in the hole. Nothing like spending money you don’t have, and even better spending other peoples money like they will just print more.
Nothing like being a disgruntled American at election time.
