Sorry folks but I’ve been missing in action for a while. Over the last few weeks I’ve been moving hosting providers for my internet sites. Its going to save me some dollars each month and allow me to have as many sites as I want. I may open up a small internet site business for people who want to have their own Joomla or Wordpress site. GetToMass.com is a Joomla site. I am also in the process of upgrading the Joomla code so GTM will have a better look and feel. Once thats all done I will start posting again but probably not until later this month.

President Elect Obama, is asking for your input on “Advancing Reproductive Rights and Health in a New Administration”. Just like Hope & Change is code for Death & Taxes. This is code for Freedom of Choice Act. Please let the President Elect Obama know your feeling on the FOCA at his Change.gov website.
Lend your voice to stopping the passage of this Obamanation of a law.

I’ve been pretty outspoken on the topic of Barak Obama and his support of abortion. While I feel justified in my comments about President Elect Obama, I probably should focus first on politicians that proclaim to be “Catholic”.
Over at the website OneNationUnderGod.com they have calculated the amount of money that supposed “Catholic” politicians have accepted from the Pro-Abortion lobby. The numbers are quite disgusting. Total contributions to Catholic members of the 111th Congress are greater than $9 Million. 82 of 162 Catholic members of congress have accepted money from Pro-Abortion groups dating back to 1989. For a detailed list of the “Catholic” politicians accepting this blood money can be found by clicking here.
Please support the website’s effort to have 100,000 signed petitions sent to the US Bishops to take action. It only takes a few seconds to lend your support. http://www.onenationundergod.org/petition.html
Clare McCaskill who has only been in congress since 2007 is the 2nd leading politician in accepting just short of $1 Million of abortion blood money.

As you can see in the left margin I have now added a blog roll of blogs I look at and read on a regular basis. Let me know in the comments if there what other blogs you all like to read or if you run a blog. I’m always interested in discovering new and regularly updated blogs..

Last weekend while driving I saw the above two bumper stickers on the car in front of me. I’m not sure how one can feel so strongly about abortion to put a bumper sticker on their car and then vote for Obama. My wife suggested that I come up with a pamphlet and stick them on cars with Obama stickers. I think it’s an excellent idea. I plan on coming up with a PDF file that would allow all readers of the blog to print them out and do likewise.

Meditation on the Economy
It appears the economy is really headed into the tank. I have a few thoughts on why, although I am certainly no expert when it comes to the area of economics. But maybe common sense is worth more in this day and age. God help me that I have common sense.
My Reasons Why
#1 The spiritual condition of our society. As a society we rely too much on ourselves and throw God to the back seat if not out the window.
#2 We have allowed our elected officials (all of them) to spend like many of the families in our country. This is to say we’ve allowed them to spend above their means. Everyone thinks their elected official isn’t the problem it’s everyone else’s.
#3 The vast majority of society is not willing to take personal responsibility for their actions. You can see it across our country with mentalities like;
a) I’ve spent too much I’ll just file for bankruptcy.
b) I got a woman pregnant, I’ll get her to have an abortion.
c) I’ve cheated on my wife and like this other woman, so I’ll just get a divorce.
d) I didn’t study for tomorrow’s exam, I’ll just cheat my way through it.
After decades of these pervasive mentalities mentioned above we are bound to have economic difficulties.
I’m sure there are others but those are the ones that come to the top of my head. Our country last month elected a candidate who ran on "Hope & Change". Yet since his election society appears to be falling over itself to prepare for the absolute worst. I pray for our new President that he does well, and leads well. I pray that this economic condition will help people reprioritize their priorities. We all need to pray more and worry less.
