“Idol Gives Back” gives to pro-abortion oganizations.
….Of course, what many people do not know, because “American Idol” has not chosen to mention it, is that Simon Cowell is the chief executive officer of International Save the Children. This is surely why Save the Children was selected as a recipient charity….
…in which I opined that the future of abortions would be chemical in nature not surgical. It seems chemical abortions are not only on the fast track around the world but they are happening so fast that they are not even medically focused. Tele-Med is the new term Read here…
…Operation Rescue has discovered that abortion clinics in some of Iowa’s small towns are providing chemical abortions, or RU-486, using what is known as the “telemed abortion.” Spokesperson Cheryl Sullinger explains there are a number of problems with this method.
“Twelve clinics in Iowa actually are prescribing dangerous abortion pills without having the patients ever being examined by a licensed physician,” she reports. “Instead, the physician appears to women on a teleconferencing hookup on a computer monitor, explains the abortion procedure, then the women are given the pills and sent away.”…
The Pro-Abortion advocates are so caring in their desire to help foster abortions they no longer care if they are even present or even safe. I thought that’s what “legal” abortion was all about? Legal abortions were going to make them “safe”.
Newsflash! Abortions Aren’t Safe! The baby dies 99.9% of the time and now the death of the mother is are on the rise.
Sr. Kehaan receives Presidential pen for supporting health care against Bishops’ decision
Washington D.C., Mar 24, 2010 / 12:39 am (CNA).- Sister Carol Kehaan, President of the Catholic Health Association, has been awarded with one of the 20 pens used by President Barak Obama on Tuesday to sign the health care bill.
It is a presidential tradition to give out the pen used to sign the bill to lawmakers and proponents who have played a key role in any piece of major legislation. [...]

Congress Approves Health Care Bill Opposed by Catholic Bishops March 22, 2010
Last night, by a vote of 219-212, the US House of Representatives passed the Senate health care reform bill opposed by the Catholic bishops and every major Pro-Life organization in America.
For decades, the Catholic Church has tirelessly encouraged our elected officials to reform America’s health care system in order to expand access to care. But the Church cannot support legislation that would expand access to abortion by opening the door to federal financing of abortion.
Yesterday, a handful of House members who had opposed the health care bill because of its abortion provisions reached an agreement with President Obama that they wrongly claimed would resolve those concerns through a promised executive order. There is again unanimity within the Pro-Life community that the executive order will in fact be entirely insufficient to the task.
It is expected that President Obama will sign the bill tomorrow. In the meantime, the US Senate will debate separate legislation under the filibuster-proof reconciliation process in order to make adjustments to the approved bill. None of those adjustments, nor the executive order, will change the fact that Congress has just passed perhaps the most significant expansion of access to abortion in the 37 years since Roe v. Wade.
I went to reconciliation tonight. I hope the Catholic representatives who Voted for this Healthcare Reform bill, as well as the Catholic supporters, do as well.
Pro-Life & Democart appears to be now officially extinct. It appears Stupak is falling for a meaningless Executive Order. If the Executive Order really mean anything you would hear the pro-abortion crowd yelling bloody murder, like they were on Friday afternoon when Pelosi was feeling them out for a seperate abortion vote. If Stupak thinks that the presidents executive order will mean anything he should no longer be called Stupak, but Stupid.
The reality of this or any other text, though is: It is meaningless legally. It has no binding effect. I don’t know a single lawyer with a working knowledge of the Constitution, Congress, and the Executive, who says otherwise.
I don’t know if I posted this before or not but Obama has a definite approach to Catholics. In order to win he has to split the Catholic vote. No president can get elected without it. He has split the vote between the lib-Catholics with his so-called social justice agenda (socialism/neighborly-ness) & the conservative Catholics (those who go to Mass each week AND follow church teaching). He even picked off a few right leaning Catholics with his “hope & change” scam. Hope & Change is code for “Death & Taxes”
For Healthcare Obama got his split between the Bishops & the CHA (catholic health association) who as of now appears to be Catholic in name only(CINO). Any true Catholic knows you need to be listening to the Bishops and not the nuns on this. One cannot compromise on the evil of abortion no matter how much “social justice” can be achieved with the legislation. Also I never found it to be the governments responsibility to apply social justice, that responsibility I believe is squarly on the Church and the people. Government just has to get out of the way, which is something they are not good at.
Look at Obama’s administration below made up of Pro-Abortion Catholics, and people think this isn’t calculated? He has to look Catholic friendly to get re-elected in 2012. Obama was never worried about women only about Catholics, that’s why Biden got the nod over Hillary. Had KittyKat Sebilus refrained from receiving communion when Archbishop Naumann told her too the 1st time she’d probably be sitting in Biden’s seat. She got in trouble weeks before the VP Pick from trying to receive communion after Naumann told her not to present herself in a private meeting, but she did anyway and was turned away by the priest. When it hit the papers, Naumann had to call her out on it in public. Obama couldn’t have that issue in play during his home stretch run against McCain, which is why I believe Biden is VP.
All of these folks are Pro-Abortion Catholics with exception of the Transportation guy who has no bearing on the abortion issue. These are just the big spots just think of the 1000s of little jobs he gets to appoint.
Obama Administration’s Pro-Abortion Catholics Joe Biden Vice Presidents Regina Benjamin Surgeon General Sonia Sotomayor Supreme Court Justice Kathleen Sebelius Health & Human Services Secretary Ken Salazar Interior Secretary Tom Vilsack Ag Secretary Hilda Solis Labor Secretary Leon Panetta CIA Robert Gibbs White House Press Secretary Miguel H. Diaz Vatican Ambassador (Pro-Life Credentials now in Question) Doug Kimec Malta Ambassador – This clown use to work for Reagan and then wrote a book on how Catholic’s could support Obama, which they can’t assuming they have a properly formed conscience, which all Catholics should strive for… Bill Richardson The Democratic governor of New Mexico was named as Obama’s choice for commerce secretary on Dec. 3. He withdrew on Jan. 4 when it appeared that his confirmation hearings would be complicated by a grand jury investigation over how state contracts were issued to political donors. Tom Daschle The former Democratic senator from South Dakota was chosen Dec. 11 to head the Health and Human Services Department. He withdrew Feb. 3 amid controversy over his failure to pay all his taxes in the last two years until after his selection.
The only Pro-Life person that I can find with any prominance in Obama’s administration is Ray LaHood Transportation Secretary, who is a Maronite Catholic and has a NARAL score of 0. Good for Ray.
