Unfortunately today I was still under the weather and had to stay home from work. The Dr. said it appears I have a stomach virus. Increase the liquids and get some rest were the Dr.’s order.

But being home did allow me to tune into Oprah to see her “big” interview with Sarah Palin. Overall I was unimpressed. It seemed neither Oprah or Palin was very comfortable and anytime they’d have a flow of conversation Oprah would break for a commercial.

As a conservative Sarah Palin intrigues me but I would say she is far from being qualified to be President, just like the current President, Barak Obama. But celebrity these days goes farther than substance.

The thing that drives me nuts about these big interviews with Gov. Palin is they always show a minute or two video of the Palin kids. Why is that? Who’s idea is that? Gov. Palin says she doesn’t want her kids to be in the media spotlight and yet there they are being filmed as part of every big interview she has and shown in the audience. If you want your kids to be out of the media spotlight then keep them out of the view of the cameras and don’t include them as part of the conversation with such easy.

I wish Gov. Palin and her family all the best, but I can’t help but think with the number slime balls in the media out gunning to bring her down and Sarah Palin’s propensity to allow her kids to be shown during these expose interviews that the Palins end up looking more like the the Gosselins in the end than the first female President.
